The gift of color.

7” x 15” This mosaic is made in a vintage Hamilton quarter-size, divided wooden organizer tray originally built for letterpress printing shops. Designed to hold small quantities of spacing material, leads, rules, or specific brass/lead type rather than a full-size California job case. I didn’t know any of that when I found it at a flea market, but liked the lines. It is now filled with glass smalti to evoke a sunset landscape.
